28 Days of Black Creators & Black History Month

February is a time to celebrate Black excellence, culture, and creativity—and at Otaku Asylum, we’re taking it a step further with 28 Days of Black Creators! This month, we’re shining a spotlight on Black voices in anime, gaming, wrestling, and nerd culture—and we want YOU to be a part of it.

What We’re Looking For

We’re opening the doors for guest contributors to write for the Otaku Asylum Blog. Whether you’re an experienced writer or just have a story to share, we welcome submissions that highlight Black creativity and representation in fandom spaces.

Spotlights on Black Creators – Cosplayers, streamers, artists, and industry professionals making waves.
Your Journey as a Black Nerd – What it means to navigate fandom as a Black anime, gaming, or wrestling fan.
Any Topic Celebrating Black Creativity in Fandom – If it uplifts Black voices and geek culture, we want to hear it!
