Otaku Asylum is stepping away from the screen and into the real world once again — this time, with our biggest community meetup yet. AFK is where the anime, gaming, and cosplay worlds collide in one high-energy afternoon built for fans, by fans — right here in Memphis.
Hosted at The Ravine @ Memphis Made Brewing, AFK invites you to unplug, connect, and hang out with fellow otaku, gamers, and creatives from across the Mid-South. Expect an open-air vibe filled with local artists, fandom energy, and the kind of conversations that usually live in Discord servers and group chats.
We’re setting the stage with:
🎨 Artist & Vendor Market — Discover local creators, merch, and art that bring fandom to life.
🎮 Gaming Corner — Console and tabletop setups for casual play and good vibes.
👾 Cosplay Meetup — Suit up, show out, and capture the moment with friends and photographers.
☕ Community Energy — Great drinks, local flavor, and the Asylum family all in one space.
AFK is more than just another event — it’s a day for our community to meet IRL, celebrate what connects us, and remind ourselves why we built Otaku Asylum in the first place: a safe space for fandom to thrive.
